Description
Technical Business Development Manager (Tech BDM) is a specialist guiding AWS customers in leveraging our offerings and programs to accelerate modernization of legacy Windows workloads. You will depend on your technical expertise and business acumen to earn trust and advise customers through the business case and planning of complex modernization projects. You will partner with solution architects on our team to move through the technical assessment aspects. This role also builds mechanisms for scale, enables sellers, partners with sales management, drives GTM, and creates demand.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Own the GTM strategy and execution for ProServe AppMod offerings in EMEA, collaborating with teams in the field including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.
- Leverage your expertise in modernization to understand the most important customer problems and enable account aligned teams in the field to solve them.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to expand markets/accounts, develop scalable programs to drive adoption, and identify new opportunities within your domain.
- Develop and execute goals to drive long term growth in EMEA, while meeting/exceeding revenue and non-revenue driven KPI’s.
- Develop mechanisms, artifacts, program elements, and GTM plans.
- Conduct customer briefings, present at customer and industry events.
- Collaborate with commercial and ProServe sales managers on GTM plans and support.

About The Team
The Application Modernization Center of Excellence is a strategic Amazon Web Services (AWS) team helping top customers solve their toughest technical challenges when moving legacy Windows applications to cloud native architectures.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including, but not limited to Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking
- Experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting
- Experience working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies, including, but not limited to, Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
- MBA
