About the Role

We are looking to strengthen our team with an experienced Development Planner at Principal level. This role involves:

  • Managing and delivering transport planning services
  • Supporting a range of developments across the UK, including key high-profile infrastructure projects
  • Based in Newcastle, Leeds, or Glasgow, this position also involves:
    • Contributing to business growth
    • Managing client relationships
    • Participating in marketing and proposal activities

Missions & Main Duties

  • Production of Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and Access Appraisals
  • Experience with traffic modelling and ability to produce abnormal loads assessments (preferable)
  • Demonstrable understanding of the UK planning process
  • Production of high-quality reports for private and public sector clients
  • Managing project budgets and deliverables

Profile & Required Skills

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience
  • Membership of:
    • Institution of Civil Engineers
    • Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation
    • Transport Planning Professionals qualification
