Principal/Senior Supplier Quality Engineer
Fixed-term contract, or Contract (hourly rate) - competitive
We are working with a leader in Manufacturing who are looking for a Principal/Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join the team.
This person's role involves the application of advanced SQE principles related to my clients hardware and processing. Key tasks include:
- Leading initiatives that support supplier and customer needs
- Improving my clients products
- Delivered quality using an advanced analytical approach to solve supply chain adversity

The jobholder must have:
- Excellent judgment, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- The ability to work on several assignments concurrently under pressure to achieve business goals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to describe complex problems in a concise manner
Additional responsibilities include acting as a commodity type specialist for allocated workload, e.g., OSP, Raw Material, Machining, or Electrical interface devices.

Requirements
Suitable candidates will have experience with measurement equipment such as:
- Surface plates
- Height gages
- Micro height
- Gauge blocks
- CMM equipment
Proven experience with gage R&R studies, gage correlation, and MSA is highly advantageous.
