Company Description
The purpose of the role is to support production operations within the Print Department. The operative safely handles printing machinery - Sakurai & INO machines, setups, and administrative support tasks to deliver high-quality transfers and labels while ensuring operational compliance with standard operating procedures.
Job Description
This position operates fully on-site at our Harrogate facility.
- Set up and operate production printing equipment according to technical specifications and safety rules.
- Conduct regular quality checks to verify correct formatting, text alignment, and design accuracy.
- Maintain an organized work area, executing standard operating procedures to keep a high level of efficiency.
- Troubleshoot simple machinery or equipment issues and escalate advanced maintenance concerns promptly.
- Assist with recording production data, logging material utilization, and organizing product batches for dispatch.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working within a manufacturing or fast-paced production environment.
- Prior experience using Sakurai / INO print machines is a big plus.
- High attention to detail with an ability to follow specific technical guides and instructions closely.
- Strong team spirit with the willingness to collaborate and adapt to flexible shift cycles.
Skills you need to succeed
- Proficiency in handling machinery operations or digital/rotary printing devices safely.
- Strong written & verbal communication abilities to log parameters accurately.
