The Role

At Lucy & Yak, print is all about storytelling, self-expression and a huge part of what makes our clothes feel joyful, distinctive and unmistakably us.

We're looking for an experienced Print Designer to lead the creative direction of our prints, graphics and surface patterns, bringing fresh ideas, exciting colour and thoughtful design to every collection. You'll combine artistic flair with a deep understanding of sustainable design, creating prints that our community will love while staying true to our values.

Working closely with our Head of Product and wider Design team, you'll shape seasonal print stories from initial inspiration through to final production, nurturing creative ideas, supporting your team and helping evolve the Lucy & Yak print handwriting.

What you'll be doing...

Bringing our print vision to life

  • Research, create and design original prints, graphics and surface patterns that celebrate the Lucy & Yak aesthetic.
  • Build inspiring seasonal print stories, themes and colour palettes that feel exciting, considered and commercially relevant.
  • Explore trends, art, culture, vintage references and everyday inspiration, translating them into designs that feel uniquely Lucy & Yak rather than trend-led.
  • Lead creative research trips and share inspiration with the wider Product team through engaging presentations, mood boards and design concepts.
  • Design original prints and guide the development of others across the team, ensuring a balanced print architecture throughout each collection.
  • Produce clear print briefs and artwork packs, communicating design intent, colour, scale and technical specifications for production.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
