We're recruiting for an experienced Estimator on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking print and communications business based in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded individual with strong knowledge of print and finishing processes to join a dynamic team.
Reporting to the Head of Business Solutions, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive commercial pricing for the Peterborough site, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
You will play a key role in delivering timely estimates, offering technical guidance, and ensuring the company maximises commercial return while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with sales teams and customers to fully understand project requirements
- Produce detailed and accurate estimates using agreed production routes, pricing structures, and selling rates
- Identify alternative specifications or production methods to benefit both the customer and the business
- Provide technical and sales support to Internal and External Account Managers
- Respond proactively to email and telephone enquiries
- Assist with outsourcing specialist print or finishing requirements when necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
- Support continuous improvement of commercial processes within the PRISM system
- Manage and prioritise the estimating inbox to ensure timely responses
- Work towards agreed KPI targets based on monthly performance reports

About You
- Proven experience producing estimates within the print industry
- Strong knowledge of print and finishing processes including Web, Litho, Digital Print, and Direct Mail
- Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
- IT literate and numerate
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Confident communicator via telephone, video call, written correspondence, and face-to-face
