SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The essential functions listed below are representative of the functions that must be performed in order to satisfactorily fulfill the purpose of this job. Additional functions and duties may be assumed or assigned from time to time.
- Required to run a variety of security print finishing presses on differing operational lines, including:
- Guillotine work
- Sheeting from reels of printed stock to various cut sheet sizes
- Banding of small stamps
- Personalization from reel to reel and reel to sheet
- Hologram / hot foil stamping
- Slitting of security stamps from master reel into multiple reels
- Bench work

Job roles would include:
- Set up and prepare machines for production
- Operate the production lines to the KPI’s of waste, time efficiencies and quality
- Ability to perform reasonable levels of maintenance when required
- Work within and to all SPS quality and regulatory standards
- Work as part of a team both on the press and as part of a specific shift team
- Work on own initiative

Essentials
- 4 GCSE’s at grade 4 or above or the equivalent experience
- Manufacturing / factory working experience
- Clean police record
Desirables
- (Security) print finishing experience
- Manufacturing Operations qualifications
WORKING HOURS
The company runs a series of different shift patterns around a 24/5 week with occasional overtime required on a weekend. A 2 shift working pattern of earlies/lates is expected if required.
