Role Description
The Print Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Loughborough. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of print equipment to produce high-quality retail and POS materials, following job specifications and production schedules. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Setting up printers
- Loading materials
- Performing test runs
- Monitoring output to ensure print accuracy, color consistency, and reliable finishing
The Print Operator will also perform basic troubleshooting, coordinate with the production team to meet deadlines, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Accurate documentation of jobs, adherence to health and safety procedures, and proactive communication with colleagues and supervisors are essential.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in print production and printing processes, with the ability to operate and set up commercial print machinery.
- Ability to provide day-to-day printer support, including basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment checks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control, ensuring all output meets specifications and brand standards.
- Previous experience in a print, signage, or manufacturing environment is highly beneficial.
- Vutek & veloblade experience would be advantageous.
- Basic understanding of print-ready files and collaboration with design or production teams.
- Good organizational skills, time management, and ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and handle materials and equipment responsibly.
