Shift Pattern
- 4 on 4 off day shifts between 06:00-18:00, following a shift rota, so you’ll always know your working days.
- 20 days annual leave and a day off to celebrate your birthday!
Hourly rate of £14.53, working 40.25 hours per week.
About The Role
We are seeking dedicated Print Room Operatives to join our dynamic team. Based at our facility, this role is vital in supporting our busy production team with producing labels, ensuring operational needs are met. With extensive free parking on site, a staff canteen and a full induction and training programme, you’ll work in a supportive and high performing environment from the very beginning.

Responsibilities
- Print labels to be used within the production of our products
- Work to tight deadlines to assist with timely production
- Ensure the proper use of equipment and materials in relation to print activities
- Ensure the efficient running of all aspects of the print room
- Record all data accurately onto required worksheets
- Ensure effective communication is in place between the print room and other internal departments
Also as required to support the production team you will:
- Monitor machine performance during production runs.
- Check machine settings, films, prints, dates, weights, and codes.
- Review the production plan and input batch ingredients as required.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and quality at all times following HACCP and food safety regulations
- Move stock and stack products
- Follow specific instructions and guidelines for product lines to ensure consistency.
About You
- Ability to self-manage time effectively
- Strong IT skills are essential, in particular – Excel knowledge to include formulas, pivot tables and spreadsheets.
- Ability to work in a fast paced food manufacturing environment where there are increased noise levels, food odours and fluctuating temperatures
- Ideally an understanding of food safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Ideally some basic mechanical knowledge related to machinery used in food processing, although you will be fully trained and supported.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (Verbal & Written)
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and able to work on repetitive tasks
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Able to safely handle manual handling tasks
- Flexible to move between print room and production related tasks as required
