Printroom Operative

Location: Normanton
Pay: £13.00–£15.00 per hour, depending on experience

Hours:
- Alternating weekly shifts – Week 1: Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm
- Week 2: Mon–Thu, 11:00am–7:30pm & Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm

As a Printroom Operative, you’ll help produce high-quality printed graphics for a wide variety of signage and display projects, working with specialist large-format printing and cutting equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate large-format printers to produce high-quality graphics
- Use digital cutting equipment to accurately finish materials
- Prepare materials for printing, laminating, trimming and finishing
- Check print quality, colour consistency and finished products
- Follow production paperwork and job specifications
- Carry out routine equipment cleaning and maintenance
- Hit production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Keep your workspace clean, organised and safe
Essential Qualifications/Skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, flexible and willing to learn
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Strong commitment to health, safety and quality

Desirable Experience
- Previous Printroom Operative or large-format digital printing experience is desirable.
- Experience with HP or Vutek printers and Zünd digital cutting systems would be a big advantage, but full training is available for the right person.
