About the Role

Past experiences like parenting, teaching, retail, or military service often provide the empathy, self-confidence, and strong communication skills we value.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building constructive, positive, and professional relationships with offenders who might be going through extremely difficult times.
- Contributing to teamwork and commitment to maintaining security, wellbeing, and a positive environment across the prison.
- Working flexible shifts, including weekends.
- Adapting to a dynamic role that changes daily—acting as a peacekeeper, counsellor, or teacher, depending on the moment.
