Key Responsibilities
- Build constructive, positive, and professional relationships with offenders who may be at their lowest point.
- Act as a team player—you’ll work closely with colleagues to ensure the safety of both the prison environment and those within it.
- Work various shifts, including weekends.
Work Summary
Your day will rarely be predictable. One minute, you’ll be a peacekeeper; the next, a counsellor or even a teacher. You’ll work directly with prisoners, balancing public safety with individual rehabilitation.
