Prison Support Role (Operational Support Grade)
Location: HMP Erlestoke
Salary: £30,491

As an Operational Support Grade, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy prison in a supportive and industrious team.
- Provide security and screening at the gate
- Manage deliveries across the facility
- Supervise visitors
- Monitor phone calls
- Operate CCTV systems
This varied and active role combines desk-based duties with more hands-on tasks such as:
- Lifting and carrying objects
- Escorting individuals (e.g., visitors, prisoners) across prison grounds
- Standing or moving for extended periods
