Prison Support - HMP Erlestoke

Prison Support Role

Location: HMP Erlestoke Salary: £30,491

About the Role

As an Operational Support Grade (OSG), you’ll be a vital part of the team keeping a busy prison running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing security and gate searches
  • Managing deliveries and security checks
  • Supervising prisoner and visitor movements
  • Monitoring phone calls and CCTV
  • Helping with physical tasks, such as lifting, escorting vehicles, and patrolling grounds

This role blends desk-based duties with physical activity, ensuring meaningful work every shift.
