As an Operational Support Grade (OSG), you will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day functions of a busy prison. Your role involves a variety of tasks including:
- Conducting security and entry searches at the gate
- Managing deliveries and coordinating logistics
- Supervising visitor arrivals and departures
- Monitoring phone calls and CCTV footage
- Performing on-the-ground duties, including escorting prisoners and staff via vehicles
- Balancing desk-based and manual tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and navigating the prison campus
This fast-paced role ensures you remain active and engaged, with minimal routine repetition.
