As an Operational Support Grade (OSG), you will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day running of a busy prison. You will be part of a supportive team where tasks vary—including:

  • Conducting security and searches at the gate
  • Managing deliveries and logistics
  • Supervising visitors
  • Monitoring phone calls and CCTV
  • Driving escort vehicles and completing physical duties like lifting, carrying, and walking around prison grounds

Work Hours & Requirements

Operational Support Grades work across multiple shifts, including weekends and night shifts, to ensure 24/7 smooth operations.

Essential requirement:

  • A full, valid UK driving licence (driving duties are a core part of this role).
