About the Role
His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service is offering this unique Operational Support Grade (OSG) role at HMP Grendon/Springhill.

As an Operational Support Grade, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the day-to-day operations of a busy prison. Your duties will vary and include:
- Supporting security and search operations at the entrance
- Managing deliveries within the prison
- Supervising visitors
- Monitoring phone calls and CCTV
- Conducting escort duties across prison grounds
This role integrates both administrative tasks and physical responsibilities, such as:
- Lifting and carrying equipment
- Driving escort vehicles (a full, valid UK driving licence is required)
Daily work will include weekend and night shifts, ensuring continuous oversight of operations.
