About the Role

As an Operational Support Grade, you will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day running of a busy prison. Your duties will include:
- Security and searches at the gate
- Managing deliveries
- Supervising visitors
- Monitoring phone calls and CCTV
- Escorting vehicles across the prison grounds
This role is varied and active, combining a mix of desk-based tasks with physical activities, such as:
- Lifting
- Carrying
- Walking
A shift-based role, weekend and night shifts are part of the schedule to ensure smooth prison operation.
