What you’ll do
As a Privacy and Responsible AI manager in the Vodafone Secure & Privacy by Design team, you will be part of a global team which provides world-class by design advisory and compliance support to a wide range of internal stakeholders. This role will primarily support business functions, helping to ensure that Privacy, Responsible AI, and Data regulations are seamlessly integrated by design.
- Act as the primary global advisor to various internal functions, influencing strategy to ensure privacy, responsible AI, and data regulations are core components of business decisions.
- Supporting our Privacy by Design and Assurance activities across a range of global data processing activities, including management of privacy impact assessments and supporting privacy demand management through our privacy management tool OneTrust.
- Lead the implementation of privacy and responsible AI principles across a range of global data processing activities.
- Own and manage privacy impact assessments (PIAs), AI risk assessments, and demand management using OneTrust to ensure continuous regulatory compliance.
- Partner with local market teams to align with global privacy and AI risk requirements while ensuring compliance with regional variations.
- Collaborate with Group Cyber Security to integrate privacy and responsible AI principles into global risk assessments from the outset.
- Provide expert advice across a wide range of areas, including commercial marketing, adtech, cookie management, consumer IoT, big data, responsible AI, and various HR and finance processes.
- Drive a culture of privacy and responsible AI within the organisation through ongoing training, awareness initiatives, and engagement with key stakeholders.
- Developing and embedding privacy notices, templates, advice, guidance, and processes with the objective of making the process efficient and effective.
- Support the investigation and management of personal data breaches and incidents, including providing advice, documenting findings, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely reporting and effective remediation.

Who you are
- Experience in privacy: Ideally gained in the telecommunications sector or another relevant business area.
- Expert understanding of relevant legislation: In-depth knowledge of GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive, and related jurisprudence.
- Working knowledge of EU AI Act, and data regulations.
- Global privacy knowledge: Strong understanding of the global privacy landscape, particularly in relation to products, services, and processes.
- Compliance management expertise: Familiar with compliance management standards, tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent organisational skills: Able to handle multiple requests with varying priorities and manage diverse stakeholder needs effectively.
