Private Banking Lending Manager
LOCATION(S): England/Scotland (Remote) HOURS: Full-time WORKING PATTERN: Homeworking with occasional travel to London for broker meetings. Workplace adjustments supported for disabled colleagues.
About This Opportunity
Ready to play a key role in delivering bespoke lending solutions for high-net-worth (HNW) clients while shaping the future of Private Banking lending?
As a Private Banking Lending Manager, you will join our Specialised Lending Team, supporting clients with complex residential and specialist lending needs. You will collaborate with:
- Private Banking colleagues
- Wealth Credit Risk teams
- Professional introducers
to achieve exceptional customer outcomes while upholding strict risk and control standards.
This is a highly relationship-driven role, where you will:
- Grow and develop our broker and introducer network
- Identify new lending opportunities
- Support clients throughout the lending lifecycle
From managing new lending enquiries and renewals to improving processes and influencing stakeholders, you’ll help create lasting impact.

Essential Skills & Experience
3+ years managing complex High-Net-Worth residential lending and specialist lending cases.
- Proven UK residential property market knowledge, including associated lending products and processes.
- Ability to build and manage relationships across stakeholders:
- Private Banking colleagues
- Credit Risk teams
- Brokers and introducers
- Strong judgement and decision-making skills, with experience in:
- Assessing complex scenarios
- Balancing customer outcomes with risk considerations
- Practical experience in:
- Improving processes
- Maintaining robust controls
- Ensuring high documentation and governance standards
