Overview
Fisher Investments Europe is the European subsidiary of Fisher Investments, a privately-held investment management firm that provides professional discretionary portfolio management services for high net worth private clients and some of the world's preeminent institutions. Our organisation is looking for a Finance Intern to help our Private Client Advice teams and support our rapidly expanding business.
The Opportunity
As an Intern you will be involved in helping balance team workflow generated by our Private Client Directors along with helping members of the team with administrative tasks, assisting in dealing with requests from various departments and preparing materials for inclusion within client proposals. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to start a career in financial services and will give interns an in-depth understanding of the industry and of a firm that is expanding rapidly.
The Day-to-Day
- Liaise with external parties to gather information on prospective clients’ current investments
- Prepare resources for prospective client meetings
- Produce reports of prospective clients’ current investments with outside providers
- Help review client profiles, identify cash flow requirements, current assets and potential account structures based on funding sources
- Prepare and send resources to current clients
- Assist in formulating elevations for senior management
- Run cash flow and portfolio simulations for inclusion in the proposals
- Contact losing providers for plan information
