Job Title: Private Client Lawyer
PQE Required: 2+
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: Up to £60,000 (DOE)
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Lawyer to join an award-winning private client team. You will manage a varied caseload of private client matters including wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection, estate administration, and contested estates, with the opportunity to develop your practice in areas that particularly interest you. The role offers genuine flexibility, including hybrid working and flexible start times, together with the chance to work alongside one of the region's most highly regarded private client specialists. For the right individual, there is a clear pathway to Partnership or Directorship, making this an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Lawyer looking to progress their career.
The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from Private Client Lawyers with a minimum of 2 years’ experience managing their own caseload. The firm is keen to hear from candidates across a broad range of experience levels, from junior Fee Earners through to Partnership level. You will possess strong client care skills, a proactive approach, and the ambition to develop your career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. Experience advising on wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection, and estate administration is essential, while experience in contested estates would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be keen to build long-term client relationships and contribute to the continued success of an established and highly regarded department.
