About the Role
Are you an experienced Private Client Lawyer looking for a role where you can take ownership and grow a private client service? Our firm is seeking a motivated professional to manage and be an intricate part of growing our existing Estate Planning and associated private client services, working alongside our Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) and wider team.
This is a fully office-based role, requiring the successful candidate to work on-site and collaborate closely with colleagues and clients. It is ideally suited to someone who thrives in a team environment and values face-to-face interaction.
This is a hands-on, service delivery, and growth-focused position. You will manage your own caseload of clients, delivering high-quality advice on wills, estate planning, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and probate. While the role does not require you to be a qualified solicitor, significant practical experience and strong technical knowledge are essential, and you must be confident handling matters competently and independently.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
