Private Client Fee Earner
Salary: £45,000–£55,000 Location: Flexible / Office-Based Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Overview of the Private Client Practitioner Role
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Private Client Practitioner to join a friendly, supportive legal team within a well-established and respected law firm.
This position offers high-quality work, genuine flexibility, and the opportunity to develop your career within a collaborative and professional environment. The ideal candidate will manage a varied and rewarding private client caseload while delivering exceptional standards of client care.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse private client caseload independently
- Drafting Wills and providing estate planning advice
- Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Advising on Probate and Estate Administration matters
- Assisting clients with Trust creation and administration
- Providing clear, practical, and professional legal advice
- Maintaining excellent client relationships and client care standards
- Collaborating with colleagues while effectively managing your own caseload
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements

Required Experience & Qualifications
The Private Client Practitioner role requires:
- Styled or qualified Solicitor (or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX))
- 3–8 years post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Proven experience handling a full private client caseload independently
- Strong technical knowledge across private client matters
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Outstanding communication and client care abilities
- A professional, proactive, and client-focused approach
- STEP membership (or working towards a STEP qualification) would be advantageous but is not essential
