An exceptional hands-on opportunity for a Newly Qualified Solicitor (NQS) or Junior Lawyer to join a private family office, overseeing a diverse property, investment, and asset portfolio.
About the Role
Ideal for ambitious legal professionals seeking broad exposure and a niche in-house experience that goes well beyond traditional private practice. You’ll work directly with senior stakeholders across a variety of legal and commercial disciplines, driving real-world impact in:
- Residential and commercial property transactions
- Private client, trust and estate matters
- Tax-related projects and asset structuring
- Investment and portfolio management support
- General legal counsel across the organisation’s wide-ranging portfolio

Requirements
We’re inviting applications from Newly Qualified Solicitors or Lawyers (up to 3 years’ post-qualification experience) who:
- Have ** demonstrable practical experience** in:
- Private client work
- Property law or transactional matters
- Wealth management or asset structuring
- Demonstrate sharp drafting skills to produce clear, accurate legal documentation in a portfolio environment
- Are highly organised, adept at ** project management**, and capable of stakeholder liaison across a dispersed team
- Thrive in a fast-paced, holistic in-house setting where general counsel skills matter as much (or more) than specialisation
- Seeking ** unconventional growth** beyond a set practice area

- Hybrid working model: 4 days per week in the Battersea office (London)
