Private Client - Senior Associate / Legal Director – (Exclusive and Confidential Mandate)
We have an exclusive mandate to seek an experienced private client lawyer to join the highly regarded private client team of a long-established, full-service London law firm.
This is a key, strategic appointment within a well-established and growing team, and for this specific role offering exposure to a broad range of sophisticated, high-value and mainly domestic private client work. There may be the opportunity to also work on cross-border/international work.
The successful candidate will work alongside leading, experienced partners and other senior and junior lawyers in a collaborative, supportive environment, with genuine opportunities for progression.
The firm
The firm enjoys an excellent reputation for private client work and has built a loyal client base over many years. Unlike some firms in the market, it remains highly stable, independent and focused on long-term growth rather than external investment or private equity ownership. The culture is collaborative, supportive and partner-led, with genuine progression opportunities for ambitious lawyers who are looking to establish themselves for the long term.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
