Job Role: Private Client Solicitor

Location: St Albans/Harpenden

Job Profile:

We are working with a highly regarded Legal 500, Tier 1-ranked Private Client team at a long-established regional law firm with an outstanding reputation for advising high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and multi-generational families. This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor (3+ PQE) to work alongside recognised experts on a varied caseload, including wills, estate planning, trusts, probate, inheritance tax planning, and complex estate administration, often with high-value and multi-jurisdictional elements. You will have experience across a varied range of Private Client matters, including:

  • Provide a range of advice and services to the Firm’s individual clients, ranging from the preparations of Wills and Trusts, inheritance tax planning, and probate & estate administration.
  • Depending on experience, you will deal with complexity of matters, and this will increase as experience and support grows.
  • The successful candidate will handle larger value estates and more complex family circumstances.
  • Advising clients on a wide range of sensitive and complex issues.

Requirements

  • England & Wales qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 3 PQE
  • Exceptional attention to detail, consistently producing work to the highest standard.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise a busy workload.
  • A proactive and motivated approach, with a genuine commitment to continuous professional development and self-improvement.
  • A strong desire to keep legal knowledge up to date while continually developing technical expertise and practical skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously, confidently managing your own caseload and taking on increasing responsibility as your experience grows.
  • A proven track record of achieving financial targets, demonstrating strong commercial awareness and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
