Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Private Client Solicitor to join their busy team in Portsmouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with at least 3 years’ PQE to develop their career within a supportive, professional, and client-focused environment. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of private client matters and play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services to individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of private client matters.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships by delivering a high standard of client care.
- Providing advice to clients on the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs).
- Drafting wills tailored to clients' individual circumstances and handling probate applications.
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of inheritance tax documentation.
- Liaising effectively with third parties.
- Ensuring accurate file management and maintaining compliance with SRA/CILEX regulations and anti-money laundering requirements.

Desired Skills Required
- A minimum of 3 years' PQE with experience dealing with Private Client matters.
- Qualification as a Solicitor or CILEX Legal Executive.
- Managing a full caseload with no supervision.
- Strong technical knowledge of Wills, Probate, LPAs, Estate Administration, and Inheritance Tax matters.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What They Offer
- Monday to Friday - 9:00am – 5:15pm this is office based.
- Salary depending on experience - £50,000 - £60,000.
- 25 days’ annual holiday plus bank holidays.
- An additional day’s holiday for your birthday.
