Private Client Solicitor, 1:2 Years' PQE, Milton Keynes, Salary DOE

About the Role

The appointed Solicitor will handle their own caseload, including drafting simple and complex Wills, Probate and Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Estate Planning, Tax Planning and Succession Planning.

You will work closely with experienced Partners on complex and high value matters, including advising high net worth individuals on cross border estate planning and repatriation issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a caseload of Private Client matters
  • Draft simple and complex Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Estate Planning, Tax Planning, and Succession Planning
  • Advise high net worth individuals on cross-border estate planning and repatriation issues

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years PQE
  • Experience managing a broad range of Private Client matters
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Empathy, professionalism, and sensitivity in advising elderly and vulnerable clients
  • Organised, personable, and able to build strong client relationships
  • STEP qualification, or a willingness to work towards achieving it, would be advantageous
