The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a busy and well-established wills and probate department. You will manage a varied caseload of private client matters, advising clients on wills, lasting powers of attorney, probate, estate administration, Court of Protection matters, and testamentary trusts. In addition to running your own caseload, you will supervise and support junior members of the team, ensuring work is delivered to the highest professional standards.
Working closely with elderly clients and their families, you will provide sensitive and practical advice while playing an active role in the continued growth and development of the office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Lawyer seeking greater responsibility and genuine opportunities for progression.

The Candidate
Applications are sought from Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives with a minimum of 3 years PQE or equivalent experience gained within a private client department. You will possess strong technical expertise across wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, estate administration, and the Mental Capacity Act, together with experience advising on testamentary trusts. STEP qualification would be advantageous, although candidates working towards the qualification will also be considered.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent client care, organizational, and communication skills, together with the ability to supervise and develop colleagues, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to the continued success of the department. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use will be required.
