Private Client Solicitor | Ipswich

About the job:

Our client is a reputable Legal 500 law firm in Ipswich with a strong Private Client practice. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality, client-focused advice across areas including wills, executries, and estate planning. They are seeking a Solicitor (NQ-5) to join their supportive and experienced Private Client team in Suffolk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own caseload of private client matters including wills, powers of attorney, and executries.
  • Assist senior solicitors with more complex estate planning and administration work.
  • Draft legal documents and provide clear, practical advice to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with a professional and empathetic approach.
  • Ensure all files are managed efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the department.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a strong interest in Private Client work.
  • Relevant traineeship experience in private client is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
