Private Client Solicitor – Full-Time Role (Hybrid Working)
Location: Kingsbridge or hybrid (some working from home)
We are seeking a qualified Private Client Solicitor to join our esteemed practice. This exciting full-time opportunity will see you advising individuals on a range of estate planning, tax, and succession issues, with the flexibility to work part of the week from home.
About the Role
As a Private Client Solicitor, you will provide expert advice and support on a diverse caseload, including:
- Drafting wills, trusts, and estate planning documentation
- Handling probate and succession disputes
- Advising clients on tax implications related to their wealth and assets
- Conducting client meetings and liaising with financial advisors, tax specialists, and other professionals
- Ensuring full compliance with regulatory and ethical standards
- Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to business development

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload while ensuring high-quality legal advice
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents with precision and care
- Conducting client consultations (in person or remotely)

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date file records
- Supporting professional development within the firm
- Training and mentoring junior team members
Requirements
We are looking for a confident, detail-oriented legal professional with the following qualifications and experience:

Essential
- Qualified solicitor status (or equivalent) with a strong foundation in private client law
- Significant experience (minimum 2+ years) in private client work or relevant practice areas
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for clients
- Strong client management and discretionary skills
- Proficient with legal research tools and expertise in drafting legal documents
- Organisational and time-management abilities to handle a busy workload
- Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD) and regulatory compliance
