Private Client Solicitor | Swansea | 3+ PQE | Competitive DOE + Benefits
An established and highly regarded law firm in Swansea is seeking a talented Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team. The firm has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services to individuals and families across South Wales, with a particular focus on providing clear, practical advice and exceptional client care.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and client-focused environment. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of private client matters and play an important role in maintaining and developing strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a broad range of private client matters, including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Inheritance tax planning
- Trusts and related matters
- Providing clear, practical, and empathetic advice to clients.
- Handling matters from instruction through to completion.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
- Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the department.

Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
- Experience handling private client matters independently.
- Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, LPAs, and estate administration.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- STEP qualification or working towards STEP would be advantageous but is not essential.
