Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive (3+ PQE) – Devon

Their team offers a comprehensive range of services, including:
- Wills
- Probate
- Trusts
- Tax planning
- Estate administration
Blending technical expertise with a personable and compassionate approach, they are trusted to guide clients through some of life’s most sensitive moments.
The Role
The firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Trusts and Estates Practitioner to join their successful Private Client team.
You will:
- Manage a varied caseload and deliver high-quality private client advice across all areas, including:
- Drafting wills and providing estate planning advice
- Inheritance Tax and succession planning
- Trust creation and administration
- Estate administration and probate matters
- Applications for Grants of Representation
- Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
- Court of Protection and Deputyship applications
- Advice on inheritance protection and asset preservation
- Deeds of variation and post-death estate planning

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in Private Client law (open to all levels)
- Strong technical knowledge in wills, probate, trusts, and estate administration
- STEP qualification or ongoing STEP studies would be advantageous but are not mandatory
