About the Role
TPF Recruitment is partnering with Canterbury-based, national-reaching, and internationally respected Top 30 chartered accountancy firm to recruit a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager. This opportunity focuses on high-end private client advisory services, offering some of the leading private client tax work in the Kent region.
As Private Client Tax Assistant Manager, you will provide strategic tax advice to high-net-worth individuals, business owners and family trusts, combining technical expertise with exceptional client service. Key aspects of your role include:
- Managing complex tax planning projects in areas such as inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and income tax
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Leading a team to ensure regulatory compliance and business growth through client development initiatives
- Producing high-quality tax work while adhering to budgets

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive tax advice to high-net-worth individuals -Manage complex tax planning and compliance matters for family trusts, as well as business and private clients
- Lead a team of tax assistants/senior support staff
- Develop and grow business through client relationship management and introducing new clients
- Uphold strict adherence to tax regulations and ethical standards in all advisory work
- Support team members as a mentor while expanding your own technical expertise
Requirements
To excel in this role, the following qualifications and experience must be met:

- ATTC qualified, or qualified by experience
- Strong previous experience at Senior or Assistant Manager level in private client tax
- Demonstrable ability to manage high-value client relationships, ensuring their needs are met with consistency and empassion
- Proven track record in producing high-quality tax work for complex UK private client matters, including capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and income tax
- Experience preferred from a ** tax practice background**, ideally within top 100 firms or large independent firms

- Highly competitive salary within the range of £45,000–£55,000
