Private Client Tax Assistant Manager
About The Role
Join a highly regarded accountancy and advisory firm with a strong presence across the UK. As a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager, you'll take ownership of a varied client portfolio while working closely with individuals and businesses across a range of sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to further develop their technical expertise, client management skills, and leadership capabilities within a collaborative and supportive environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing a portfolio of private clients with minimal supervision.
- Delivering personal tax compliance work, including matters relating to P11Ds and inheritance tax.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
- Supporting the achievement of team revenue and profitability goals.
- Handling ad hoc tax queries and advisory projects as they arise.
- Conducting technical research into complex areas of tax legislation.
- Leading, mentoring, and coaching junior members of the team.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Continuing your professional development and expanding your technical knowledge.

About You
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
- CTA, ACA, ACCA or CA (or equivalent) qualification.
- Previous experience in Private Client Tax, Personal Tax, or Mixed Tax within an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical tax knowledge and the ability to interpret complex legislation.
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering high levels of client service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience, or a desire to develop these skills further.
- Exposure to clients across multiple sectors, which would be advantageous.
