Description
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to a portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals and trusts.
- Review tax returns prepared by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and adherence to current legislation.
- Offer proactive tax planning advice to clients to help them achieve their financial goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless service for clients across the professional services spectrum.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to grow the firm's tax client base within Guildford and surrounding areas.
- Support the training and development of junior staff, sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant tax legislation and industry developments.
- Ensure all work is completed within deadlines and complies with internal quality standards.

Profile
A Successful Private Client Tax Assistant Manager Should Have
- A recognised professional tax or accountancy qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA).
- Strong technical knowledge of private client tax matters, including compliance and advisory work.
- Experience managing a diverse portfolio of private clients within the professional services industry.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly to clients.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
