Private Client Tax Associate

About the Role

A growing and highly regarded accountancy and advisory firm is looking for a Private Client Tax Associate to join its expanding tax team.

Working with a varied portfolio of individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners, trusts, and high-net-worth clients, you’ll support tax compliance and advisory work while developing your technical expertise within a collaborative and supportive environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in private client tax with full study support and clear progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare personal tax returns and related tax computations
  • Assist with tax planning and advisory projects for private clients
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service
  • Keep up to date with UK tax legislation and best practice
  • Support senior colleagues on a range of client assignments

About You

Applicants should ideally have:

  • ACA and/or CTA part qualification (or be working towards qualification)
  • A degree (minimum 2:2 or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine interest in UK private client taxation
  • The ability to build positive client relationships and work effectively within a team
