Private Client Tax Compliance Manager | Glasgow or Edinburgh | Hybrid Working

If you're an experienced Private Client Tax Compliance professional looking for a role where you can continue to develop, take on greater responsibility and progress your career, this could be the opportunity you're looking for.

You'll join an established and collaborative tax team, managing your own portfolio of clients while working alongside experienced colleagues across the wider business. The role

As Private Client Tax Compliance Manager, you'll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients and ensuring all compliance work is completed accurately and on time.

Alongside your compliance responsibilities, you'll identify opportunities to support clients with additional services, review work prepared by junior colleagues and contribute to the ongoing development of the team.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone with strong Private Client Tax Compliance experience who enjoys building client relationships and takes pride in delivering a high standard of work.

You'll ideally have

  • A professional qualification such as CTA, ATT, CA, STEP or equivalent.
  • At least two to three years' experience at Assistant Manager level or above within Private Client Tax Compliance.
  • Experience managing your own portfolio of clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax compliance.
  • The ability to review work and support the development of junior colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Confidence carrying out technical research and dealing with more complex compliance matters.
  • Experience of CCH Personal Tax and good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word would be advantageous.
