The Role
This Private Client Tax Manager role in Kent focuses on managing a portfolio of private clients, with a particular emphasis on trusts and estates, alongside a range of advisory work.
- Managing a portfolio of trust and personal tax clients
- Preparing trust accounts and trust tax returns, including R185s
- Preparing inheritance tax (IHT) and estate tax returns
- Preparing personal tax returns for a varied client base
- Supporting Directors with advisory and planning work across trusts, estates, and wider private client matters
- Exposure to complex and varied advisory projects
About You
- Professionally qualified (CTA, ACA, STEP/TEP or equivalent)
- Operating at Senior level ready to step up, or already at Manager level seeking a new challenge
- Strong experience in private client tax, particularly trusts and estates
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex tax matters
- Able to manage a portfolio independently while supporting wider team delivery
- Motivated to continue technical and professional development
