Private Client Tax Manager

We are seeking a skilled Private Client Tax Manager to join our professional services team in Guildford. This role focuses on delivering exceptional tax advice and managing client relationships within the tax department.

Description

  • Provide expert tax advice to private clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, maintaining strong professional relationships and understanding their specific needs.
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns and computations accurately and efficiently.
  • Advise on tax planning opportunities to optimise clients' financial positions.
  • Support junior team members by providing guidance and reviewing their work.
  • Stay updated on tax legislation changes and their implications for clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive services to clients.
  • Assist in business development initiatives to grow the tax department's client base.

Profile

A successful Private Client Tax Manager should have:

  • A professional qualification in tax or accountancy, such as CTA or ACCA.
  • Proven experience in private client tax within professional services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • The ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines efficiently.
