About the Role
An innovative and expanding accountancy firm is embracing modern technology and closer client partnerships to deliver a more commercial, advisory-focused service.
This is a highly relationship-focused role, offering ownership of a portfolio of private clients, trusts, estates, and owner-managed businesses.
You’ll work closely with clients on a range of personal tax matters, with direct access to senior leadership and the opportunity to play a key role in growing the firm's private client offering.

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of private clients, trusts, and estates
- Review personal, partnership, and trust tax returns
- Deliver advisory work across:
- Personal tax
- Capital Gains Tax (CGT)
- Inheritance Tax (IHT)
- Trust taxation
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Manage compliance deadlines across your portfolio
- Support and develop junior team members
- Collaborate with colleagues across:
- Tax
- Accounting
- Advisory services
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and service offerings
- Contribute to the growth of the firm’s private client and family business offering

Requirements
- CTA, ATT, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
- Strong experience in personal tax within a practice
- Experience in managing portfolios of private clients, trusts, and estates
- Technical knowledge in:
- Personal tax
- CGT
- IHT
- Trust taxation
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Commercial mindset and interest in advisory work
- Ambition to progress and take on greater responsibility
