Job Title: Private Client Tax Senior Manager
Location: City of Bristol - 3 days in office, 2 days from home
Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 + benefits!
The Role:
My client are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join their Private Client team and take a leading role in the delivery and development of their personal tax compliance offering. This is a key appointment for the team and an exciting opportunity for an established Private Client tax professional who enjoys building client relationships, developing people and driving the delivery of a high-quality compliance service, whilst also having the opportunity to undertake advisory work across a broad range of private client matters.
The Individual:
- Significant experience within a Private Client team in a professional services environment.
- Extensive experience managing a portfolio of self-assessment tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners and trustees.
- A strong track record of leading the delivery of a high-quality, efficient personal tax compliance service.
- Experience managing and reviewing complex personal tax compliance matters, including Self-Assessment returns for individuals and trustees.
- Experience identifying opportunities to provide additional value and advisory support to Private Client clients.
- Experience building trusted client relationships and acting as a key point of contact for clients and professional intermediaries.
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing tax professionals within a Private Client team.
- Strong organisational and workflow management skills, with the ability to oversee compliance delivery across a varied portfolio.
- CTA qualified (preferred) or ACA, ATT or equivalent qualification with substantial relevant experience.

Desirable Experience:
- Experience leading or developing a Private Client compliance function.
- Experience working with entrepreneurial and family-owned businesses, supporting both business and personal tax matters.
- Experience of trust structuring, family succession planning and inheritance tax advisory work.
- Experience of residence, domicile and international private client tax matters.
- Experience contributing to business development initiatives and growth within a Private Client practice.
- Experience supporting the strategic development of a Private Client team and service offering.
