📍 Location: Hybrid – United Kingdom (Must be UK-based)
✈️ Travel: Regular travel to customer sites across the UK and Europe

As we launch our next-generation HookZ InfraX™ Private Cloud Platform, we’re looking for an experienced Private Cloud Engineer to join our growing engineering team.

What You’ll Do
As a Private Cloud Engineer, you’ll design, deploy, and operate enterprise private cloud environments powered by the HookZ InfraX™ platform. You’ll work with customers across regulated industries to build secure, resilient, AI-ready infrastructure spanning data centres, cloud, and edge environments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and deploying private and hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implementing virtualization, compute, storage, and networking solutions
- Building highly available, secure, sovereign infrastructure platforms
- Automating deployments using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
- Managing Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms
- Integrating HookZ Communications Fabric™ into customer environments
- Implementing networking, routing, VPNs, firewalls, and identity management
- Monitoring platform health, performance, logging, and observability
- Troubleshooting complex infrastructure and platform issues
- Collaborating with Product, Architecture, Customer Success, and Engineering teams
- Producing technical documentation, deployment standards, and best practices
- Supporting customer implementations across the UK and Europe

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges and delivering modern cloud platforms. You’ll ideally have experience with:
- Private cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Enterprise virtualization platforms
- Kubernetes or comparable container orchestration technologies
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or similar)
- CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation
- Enterprise networking including routing, switching, VPNs, DNS and firewalls
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Storage technologies and high-availability architectures
- Monitoring and observability platforms
- Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
- SIP, VoIP, contact centre technologies or communications infrastructure (desirable)
- AI infrastructure, edge computing, or distributed platforms (advantageous)
- Delivering solutions within regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, government, telecommunications, or critical infrastructure
