Associate Dentist – Modern Mixed Private & NHS Practice

(Part-time, 1–2 Days/Week, Mon–Sat | Flexible Hours)

We’re looking for an ambitious, patient-focused, and collaborative Associate Dentist to join our expanding private and NHS practice in Hastings.

About the Practice

  • Mixed NHS and Private Model – Work effectively in both environments for varied case experiences.
  • Modern Digital Workspace – Use iTero scanner, in-house lab, and cutting-edge tools for streamlined treatments.
  • Supportive Team Culture – Clinical and administrative support, including a dedicated Treatment Coordinator to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-standard general dental care for all patients (adults and children).
  • Maintain NHS contractual duties as well as take on private treatments.
  • Offer a range of private services, including quality dental implants, crowns, bridges, and possibly aesthetic treatments.
  • Enroll in patient-focused care—our premium private treatment list attracts loyal clients for long-term private work.
  • Collaborate on team initiatives, ensuring seamless patient flow and satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on modern dental techniques, technology, and best practices.

Essential Requirements

  • GDC-registered dentist (BDS/DCXR or equivalent).
  • Proven experience (3+ years in general practice; private experience positively considered).
  • Strong patient care ethos and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to commute to Hastings daily or relocate on joining.
  • Flexible mindset for both private and NHS patient management.

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing oral health programs in bulk/hiv/PA funding.
  • Basic knowledge of Invisalign or cosmetic dentistry will be advantageous.
