Private Driver / Chauffeur

Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week | Competitive Salary

We are seeking an experienced, professional and flexible Private Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for private and business travel.

This is a permanent, salaried position based on 40 hours per week. Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is essential.

Working hours will vary and may include early mornings, evenings and weekends. Rotas will normally be provided a week in advance wherever possible but last minute requirements are expected.

The Role

Based out of our Head Office in Chelmsford, you will be responsible for providing a professional chauffeur service to directors and their families, ensuring every journey is completed safely, punctually and professionally.

Journeys Will Include

  • Business meetings
  • Private appointments
  • Corporate events
  • Airport transfers
  • Hospitality and social events
  • Other journeys as required

In addition to driving duties, you will take pride in maintaining the presentation of our vehicle fleet, ensuring each vehicle is cleaned, washed and presented to an exceptional standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, courteous and professional transportation at all times.
  • Plan efficient routes and monitor traffic conditions to ensure punctual arrivals.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality and discretion.
  • Keep the company vehicle fleet clean, polished and ready for use.
  • Carry out routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance requirements promptly.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.

About You

You will be:

  • An experienced, confident and courteous driver.
  • Smartly presented with excellent personal standards.
  • Flexible and willing to work varying hours to meet business requirements.
  • Calm under pressure with excellent time management skills.
  • Trustworthy, dependable and highly organised.
  • Comfortable driving in London and throughout the UK.
  • Able to build positive professional relationships while maintaining appropriate discretion.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK road networks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

  • Previous experience as a private chauffeur, executive driver, personal driver or corporate chauffeur.
  • Experience driving premium or luxury vehicles.
