The Role: Venture Finance Analyst
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Venture Finance Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent financial modeling skills, and a keen interest in venture capital and startup ecosystems. As a Venture Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis, and supporting decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis on potential venture capital investments, including:
- Due diligence on financial statements
- Market trend assessments
- Business model evaluations
- Evaluate investment opportunities, prepare financial models, and assess risks and returns
- Collaborate with the investment team on industry research and market trends
- Assist in drafting investment proposals and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor financial performance of portfolio companies and provide regular updates
- Work closely with portfolio companies to support their financial planning and strategic initiatives
- Conduct valuations and financial assessments for investment decision-making support
- Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and their impact on strategy
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, business, economics, or a related field; Master’s degree or CFA designation is highly regarded.

- Proven experience in financial analysis, ideally in venture capital or private equity
- Strong computational and analytical skills with a financial modeling focus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for presentation and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work independently yet collaboratively within a team
- Knowledge of venture capital and startup ecosystem dynamics
- Proficiency with financial software tools common in venture finance analysis
