Role Summary
As a Private Equity Associate, you’ll support sponsors, management teams, portfolio companies, and financial institutions across a wide range of private equity and corporate transactions. Collaborating closely with partners and colleagues, you will take a leading role in transaction execution while assisting in building and strengthening client relationships.

The team advises on:

- Leveraged transactions
- Buy-and-build strategies
- Growth capital investments
- Distressed situations
- Exits

Due to the firm’s global reach, many transactions carry an international focus, offering invaluable exposure to complex cross-border opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on:
- Private equity investments
- Acquisitions
- Disposals
- Broader corporate transactions
- Take a leading role in the day-to-day management and execution of:
- Private equity transactions
- M&A deals
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of transaction documentation
- Collaborate with specialist teams (Finance, Tax, Employment, Benefits, Regulatory) to ensure seamless client service
- Guide clients through:
- Buyouts
- Leveraged transactions
- Growth capital investments
- Buy-and-build campaigns
- Distressed situations
- Exit strategies

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent qualification in a comparable jurisdiction)
- Experience within a recognized private equity, corporate, or transactional legal practice
- Proven expertise in advising on:
- Private equity transactions
- Buyouts
- Mergers & acquisitions
- Exposure to cross-border transactions and international deal execution
