Role: Private Equity Associate
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $100 - $144/hour
About the Role
We are hiring a Private Equity Associate to support deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management for a global investment firm. The role involves evaluating high-growth technology and software companies for potential investments. You will collaborate with senior investment professionals to structure transactions and monitor portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and valuation analysis to assess investment opportunities
- Perform detailed due diligence on target companies, including:
- Financial analysis
- Operational evaluation
- Market risk assessment
- Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for investment committees and limited partners
- Support portfolio companies with:
- Strategic initiatives
- Operational improvements
- Monitor existing investments by:
- Tracking KPIs
- Reporting performance to stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong expertise in financial modeling and valuation within a private equity or venture capital context
- Hands-on experience in due diligence for technology and software investments
- Proficiency in:
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Financial analysis tools
- Ability to:
- Analyze complex financial statements
- Assess market trends
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting
