Private Equity Associate (secondaries), 2-3 years PQE

Investment Associate – PE Secondaries (London)

We are working on a confidential mandate for one of the most established and respected private markets platforms in the world. The firm manages over $100bn in assets and has been a leading force in secondaries for more than four decades.

This is a rare opportunity to join the London-based PE Secondaries team as an Investment Associate.

The secondaries business is one of the most active globally—executing:

  • LP portfolio acquisitions
  • GP-led continuation vehicles
  • Complex structured liquidity solutions

Transactions typically range from $50m to $1bn+, and the platform is growing with new strategies emerging.

Responsibilities

You will work across the full transaction lifecycle, including:

  • Evaluation and execution of LP and GP-led secondaries transactions
  • Financial modelling, portfolio analysis, and valuation of underlying private equity assets
  • Due diligence on funds, portfolios, and sponsors
  • Transaction structuring and investment committee materials
  • Portfolio monitoring and performance reporting
  • Collaboration with senior investment professionals across global offices

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
